It’s back for the 20th year it’s the fantastic Garden State Film Festival and it’s happening again in Asbury Park and remotely as well. Hard to believe that this event is now two decades old.
The Garden State Film Festival will take place in person March 23-27 in Asbury Park, New Jersey and Cranford, New Jersey. The online virtual event will take place from March 28 to April 3.

According to their website”The Garden State Film Festival was born in 2002 after a chance meeting at a grocery store in Sea Girt, New Jersey, between film industry veteran Diane Raver and acclaimed Hollywood actor Robert Pastorelli. Thanks to their deep ties to Hollywood, Mr. Pastorelli and Ms. Raver were able to organize a global event in the state of New Jersey. It premiered in 2003 and was immediately considered a huge hit.“
I recently had the opportunity to speak with Garden State Film Festival General Manager Lauren Concar Sheehy and Board Vice Chair Heather Brittain O’Scanlon. We discussed the 2022 event and the lineup for this year’s event, both in-person and virtually.
