The Utah Society for Addiction Medicine and the Utah Department of Health and Human Services are excited to present this summer’s Art for the Recovery Community Festival!

Join us on August 20 at the Sugar Space Arts Warehouse in downtown Salt Lake City (132 W 800 S) for our fourth annual festival celebrating and showcasing recovering artists.

The ARC festival opens at 6 p.m. with a gallery exhibition showcasing works by visual artists, painters, photographers, and more. An evening concert, starting at 7:30 p.m., will include performances by local poets and musicians.

This event is free and open to the public. Masks are encouraged but not required. We look forward to seeing you all there for a great evening of expression, connection and celebration!

Are you a recovering artist? We would love for you to showcase your work at this year’s festival! All disciplines – painting, photography, music, dance, etc. – are welcome and encouraged to apply. ARC: Art for the Recovery Community is an annual art festival sponsored by the Utah Society of Addiction Medicine to showcase and celebrate local artists in recovery.

The festival welcomes artists from all disciplines ranging from poetry, photography and visual arts to music, dance, spoken word and beyond. We come together to share our work, celebrate the recovery process and use the unique power of art to open, widen and deepen the channels of communication and understanding within our local community.
