Riteish Deshmukh is a Bollywood actor who during throughout his career, showcased his tremendous versatility.
Mostly seen in comedy films, Riteish shone in other genres whenever called upon.
Now, for anyone who remembers his early years, Ritiesh made back-to-back comedy thrillers, with movie audiences really taking notice of his performances.
Obviously, his comedic timing was all natural, and soon he was doing a lot of adult comedy movies, which further increased his popularity among fans.
The actor has worked in films like Masti, Great Masti, Kya Kool Hai Humand Kya Super Kool Hain Humwith many of them doing well at the box office.
Now, in an interview, Ritiesh has spoken in detail about choosing to do sex comedies in Bollywood and how he was not ashamed of it.
He even explained that he was not worried about what his children would think of it in the future.
“I’m the only actor who’s done 4-5 sex comedies and I’m not ashamed of that. After a while there’s nothing left to offer. I never thought what my son would think in the future. When I did this, my father was the chief minister of Maharashtra. I made this choice. My parents never told me what to do, what not to do. They allowed me to make my own choice. When it comes to my kids choosing to watch, they don’t really know my work,’ he said in an interview with ETimes.
Riteish married his masti co-star Genelia D’Souza and have two children – Rahyl and Riaan – together.
The actor goes on to reveal that his kids are still unaware of his stardom, with other kids at school telling them about it.
“My kids still don’t understand why paps (paparazzi) and fans want to click pictures with me. They still aren’t aware of fame. Fame is only temporary. What you think fame is, maybe it’s just an illusion… My kids go to school and their friends tell them your dad is a star. All I tell my kids is, ‘Go tell your friends that my dad goes to work every day to support me and entertain my family.”
